MING VASE

The artist has painted the very famous blue and white porcelain popularly known as the Ming vase. Few objects in the world are so famous that they are known by their place of origin. These blue and white pottery and porcelain shows 'blue flowers/patterns’, which are made using blue cobalt pigment. The vase contains the peony flower in full bloom showing the intricate petals, foliage and the vibrant hues rendered with meticulous brushstrokes.
